My attempt at a sketch challenge. This is for My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge. After I made this card I realized that anything can stand for the rectangle behind the image so it could be a tree, a window or something else rectanglish. I think I'm going to enjoy learning to do these sketch designed cards in the future.

Second card for the My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge   #mftstamps MFTWSC314 . I was going to use a tree to stand in for the smaller rectangle but instead decided to reference a tree by using the background woodgrain stamp on some kraft paper with brown ink to imitate a wooden door. A fun card made to remember summer during this frozen season. Made using Hero Arts Layering Flamingo stamp and dies, My Favorite Things stencil and in and out Simon Says Stamp Oval Die. I also covered the stenciled background with vellum to soften it a bit. And below is another variation of this card. this card has some simple distress ink blending in blues and lavender inks with hickory smoke around the edges. Using some water sprinkled over the background and then removing some of the wet ink I added the distressed look to this card. CTD424, #CTD424, #colorthrowdown

Whipped up a baby card for this week's Color Throw Down Challenge. I've been wanting to get a start on making baby card sets for a gift for next Christmas so this was a good start.  I used Avery Elle Postage Stamp Dies and Avery Elle Special Delivery Stamp Set. Plus a few copic markers and some Papertrey ink cardstock. CTD424, #CTD424, #colorthrowdown

On card number two I stamped the images directly onto the card base and used different tones of pink and green copic markers compared to the first card. I used black card stock to add the frame.
